Level changes + optimization
As promised level 2 and 3 have received there much needed makeover.
Level 2
Level 2 has received a complete overhaul for the graphics here is how they look now.
New particle effects have been created and the sound effect of the train passing by has been updated.
Level 3
In level 3 the only things that have actually changed are the background buildings they are all from my pixel art city asset pack.
Also i turned the trains into an asset pack on itch.io so you can download and use them yourself in your games.
I also decided level 3 could do with some optimization.
The environment has been split into chunk which only display when the player is nearby and destroy themselves once the train has passed to help conserve frame rate and optimization will mean more people can run the game.
In the game the trains do not actually move i just made it so the environment moves in the opposite direction to where the trains are facing and it creates the impression that the trains are moving. Its the same script used for the background ufos trains and the moving cars as well as the army trucks in level 2.
Also another bug addressed is that the scene fade in and out animations used to repeat themselves twice they do not do that now i just decreased the time until it switches to the next animation.
I'am not sure what will be done in time for the next devlog but it will be posted at some point next week.
